Nestled among the vines of Whitehall Vineyard, Vines & Stems is an intimate pop-up restaurant celebrating the best of the Wiltshire countryside. Set within the rolling Avon Valley near the historic village of Lacock, guests dine surrounded by vineyard views, open skies and the relaxed charm of a working family vineyard.
The concept brings together seasonal food, locally sourced produce and award-winning English wines produced from the vineyard's own grapes. Menus change with the seasons, showcasing fresh ingredients from Wiltshire and the surrounding West Country, carefully paired with Whitehall's handcrafted wines.

The atmosphere is informal yet elegant – long tables among the vines, golden sunsets over the valley, and a warm welcome that reflects the vineyard's family heritage. Established on land farmed by the Self family for generations, the vineyard combines traditional countryside values with a passion for producing exceptional English wine.
Whether enjoying a summer evening supper, a special celebration, or a relaxed gathering with friends, Vines & Stems offers a unique vineyard dining experience where great food, great wine and the beauty of rural Wiltshire come together.
During the summer months, fragrant elderflowers growing around the farm are hand-picked to create our refreshing homemade elderflower cordial, while apples from our orchards are pressed into fresh, flavourful apple juice that captures the taste of the countryside in every glass.
By producing so much ourselves, we’re able to serve food that is fresh, seasonal and full of character, while supporting sustainable farming and protecting the landscape that surrounds us.
When you dine at Whitehall, you’re not just enjoying a meal – you’re experiencing the story of the farm itself, where every season brings something new from field to fork.
THE FARM TO FORK STORY
At Whitehall Farm, our food begins just a few fields away. We believe that great food comes from knowing where it was grown, how it was cared for, and the people who produced it.
Much of what you’ll enjoy during your visit is born, raised, grown or harvested right here on the farm. Our beef, lamb and pork are reared on Whitehall Farm, allowing us to maintain high standards of animal welfare while keeping food miles to an absolute minimum. From pasture to plate, we know the journey every ingredient has taken.
Our own bees work tirelessly throughout the seasons, producing the delicious Whitehall honey you’ll find in our café and farm shop.
